Mary Magdalene is a figure in the New Testament who was one of Jesus' followers and is often mentioned as being present at significant events in his life, including his crucifixion and resurrection. She is also sometimes associated with the woman who anointed Jesus' feet with perfume. Mary, the mother of Jesus, is a central figure in Christianity as the mother of Jesus Christ. She is revered as a symbol of purity and motherly love, and is often depicted in religious art and venerated in various Christian traditions. Both Mary Magdalene and Mary, the mother of Jesus, play important roles in the story of Jesus' life and teachings. **

It ultimately depends on the school's dress code and Mary's personal style. If the school allows for chunky heels and Mary feels comfortable and confident in them, then she can consider wearing Mary Jane shoes with chunky heels to school. However, if the school has a strict dress code or if Mary feels that the shoes may be too distracting or uncomfortable for a day of classes, she may want to opt for a more practical and school-appropriate footwear option. Ultimately, Mary should consider both the school's guidelines and her own comfort and confidence when making her decision. **

This belief is held by the Roman Catholic Church and some other Christian denominations, but it is not universally accepted among all Christians. **
